Shonda DeCarlo Bryant Jones, age 40 was born on December 26, 1971 to Austin and JoAnn Bryant in Mansfield, Louisiana. She entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Shonda is reunited with her father, Austin B. Bryant; brother, Gregory Anderson; niece, JaNae A. Burleson; paternal grandmother, Melinda Bryant; paternal grandfather, Booker T. Bryant; maternal grandmother, Evelena Hilliard Anderson; maternal grandfather, Kidd Jackson and maternal step-grandfather, John Anderson. She leaves to cherish fond memories, her loving husband, Herbert Lee Jones; devoted mother, JoAnn Bryant; four children, her most prized possessions, Patrick “PeeWee” Burns, Jr. (Jawaan Alexander), Shon’Tasia “TayTay” Burns, Ter’Merra “Mama” Rogers and Terrance “Dooga” Rogers, Jr.; Two dogs she cared for as her own children, Chance and Bam-Bam; three loving sisters, Kesha Bryant Gilmore (Lydell), Terresa Bryant Burleson (Jamond, Sr.) and Nelia McWashington; six nieces; one nephew; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, dear friends and her family at Quest Diagnostics and Sugarland OBGYN, where she was a faithful employee that are left to continue her legacy of life and love. She will be laid to rest at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, Texas.
