Sheryl Hopson Schuldt, age 61, a cherished resident of Sugar Land, Texas, peacefully passed away on December 19, 2023. She was born on July 14, 1962, in Wharton, Texas, to her loving parents, Buddy and Nell Hopson.
Sheryl was a devoted wife, celebrating 37 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Conrad Schuldt. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to the noble profession of teaching within the Alief Independent School District. She exhibited an unwavering passion for language arts, reading, and writing, leaving an indelible mark on countless students who were fortunate enough to have her as their teacher.
In addition to her devotion to education, Sheryl had a deep and abiding love for her four-legged companions. She adored her dogs, Riley and Gracie, and her cats, Bella and Callie, as if they were members of her own family. Their presence brought her immeasurable joy, and her caring nature extended to all creatures great and small.
Sheryl was a loving daughter, mother, and sister. She was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Hopson, but she leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories in the hearts of those she touched. Sheryl is survived by her husband, Conrad Schuldt, her son, Cody Schuldt, her mother, Nell Hopson, her brother, Craig Hopson, and his three sons, Tyler, Blake, and Justin.
Sheryl Hopson Schuldt will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to nurturing young minds, as well as her deep love and compassion for animals. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
A graveside service for Sheryl will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077.
