Sherald Ketter

Sherald Lea Ketter, born February 19, 1942, daughter of Rex & Orvilla Hartle of Lyons, KS, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 peacefully in her home. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed singing & taking care of her family. She spend most of her life in southern CA helping her busband, William (Buddy) Robert Ketter of Pittsburg, PA run their auto business & entertain others with their musical talents. She was preceded by her parents, sister, Margaret (Peggy) Jarboe of Coasta Mesa, CA, and son, Willam (Billy) Rex King of Monrovia, CA. She is survived by her husband of 40 years who lives in Houston, TX, her children, Kelly Hafen & Kerry Slater of Big Bear Lake, CA, Kevin King of Landenberg, PA, Melissa Hinson of Stockton, CA & Robert Ketter of Hedgesville, WV, 10 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. An open house honoring her memory will be held at her home, 18515 Denise Dale Lane, Houston, TX 77084 on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated at her favorite charity, City of Hope at: Annual Giving 1055 Wilshire Blvd. #1200 Los Angeles, CA 90017.
