Sharyn started going to Airline Manor Baptist Church where she accepted Christ as her personnel Savior and was Baptized by Bro. Riley Hamilton. Sharyn said that was the most important thing that she had done in her life and she loved going to Church.
The one place that she worked was the Chase Bank (originally the Texas Commerce Bank) for 38 years. She started out in in the bookkeeping department, then went to the return items and then to the ACH department until she retired.
She was as avid traveler and had visited all but 6 of the United States along with Carol Hilmers, her tag along. Also, there were two trips to Canada and one included going to Niagara Falls. Most of these trips were done by car, very few were done by plane. Sometimes Mary and James would come by and pick us up and we would go to Dallas of San Antonio just to eat lunch and then return home. Then there were the short road trips after Church, just to be traveling.
Sharyn is survived by; sister Joyce E. Woods and husband Randall and brother Robert E. Smith and wife Mary.
