Shari L. Peterson

Shari Lynn Peterson, age 60 passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Shari was born July 16, 1961 in Angleton, Texas. Shari was christened at the First United Methodist in Georgetown Texas.

Shari who was commonly known by Sis to her family was born in Angleton and moved to Seguin as a young child and grew up in Georgetown and Houston Texas. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in 1979. She also attended University of Houston. Shari was an excellent business manager and client relations specialist. She worked for numerous banks in Bellaire and Houston throughout her 20s.

She met Fred Amjadi in Houston, TX at Bank of Texas in 1986. After they met they owned and operated a specialized auto body and mechanical shop for many years. They have many loyal customers and employees who will dearly miss her. She was engaged in many social and professional activities.

Shari is survived by her husband Fred Amjadi his children Aaron and Adrian Amjadi (Stephanie); grandchildren: Emma, Aiden, Olivia, & Cash; her mother Dr. Verna Peterson of Houston, TX., brother Rob Peterson (Lou Ann); and two nephews Walt and Will Peterson of Austin Texas.

A Celebration of Life for Shari will be held Sunday, November 21, 2021 starting at 3:00 PM at Texas Liberty Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. Following the Celebration of Life there will be a committal service and reception information will be given at the conclusion of services.
