Seth Mason Weinberg

Seth Mason Weinberg, age 36, unexpectedly departed for his journey to heaven on March 21, 2024. Seth was born and raised in Houston, making lifelong friends from a very young age. He graduated from Cypress Creek High School and went on to earn a BA in Interactive Media Design from the Art Institute of Houston. He then embarked on his career as a valet, giving him the opportunity to drive and experience the exotic sports cars he dreamed to one day own himself.

In his short life, those who were blessed to have known him would all agree that he was the most generous, responsible, caring and loving young man they knew. A lover of animals, he even had special relationships with all the neighborhood pets.

Seth also had a lifelong love for video gaming and was quite skilled in the sport. Because of this, he made friends all over the US and Canada. He had hoped to one day be able to travel, with several far away destinations in mind.

We will all remember Seth for the great joy he brought to our lives with his magnetic personality, talents, and always caring for others before himself. He is lovingly missed by those he preceded in death: his parents, George and Pam; brother Joel; sister-in-law Kristin, nephews Nolan and Nate; niece Alexis; cousins Tony and Michele Catanese; cousin Tanya Blondiau; aunts and uncles Joe and Gayle Weinberg and Jack and Mary Nell Fried; and godmother Carol Speidel.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at Brookside Funeral Home Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North. Service will begin at 2 PM with a short reception following from 3PM – 5PM.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be sent to the Houston SPCA.
