Scott R Whitehead, 50, passed away suddenly on the morning of August 26, 2015 from a tragic work related accident in Louisiana. Scott was born in Zanesville, Ohio but at the age of 2 became a full fledge Texan, Texas cowboy boots and all. Scott graduated from Aldine High School in 1984 and begun working in the carpentry field then later went into the construction business for numerous companies. The last company was Flexible Lifeline Systems as a safety system installer. Scottie enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved the out doors and whatever came with it. He enjoyed golfing, but his real passion was fishing and hunting. Scottie will be greatly missed and mourned by his parents W. "Richard" and Mary Anne Whitehead and his 3 surviving sisters, Annette Durham, Belinda Palm and husband Mitch and Gail Martinez. He also leaves to mourn numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and his hunting buddy Orlando DuQue and several friends at Flexible Lifeline Systems, especially P.J. Clark. Scottie will also be greatly missed by the family pets, Molly, Susie and Toby. Scottie will always be remembered as a loving son, brother and uncle. Visitation will be Monday August 31, 2015 from 5 pm to 8 pm at
Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home.A Celebration of Life funeral service will be at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home with Rev Bill Cole, officiating. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
