Scott Compton Holder

Scott Compton Holder, 27, of Houston, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2023, at his home in Jersey Village. He was born on October 15, 1995, in Harris County, Houston, Texas. Scott attended Cypress Creek High School and later had his own mobile mechanic business in which he carried with him across the states he lived in. He was passionate about anything related to cars and motorcycles, which brought him immense joy.

Scott is preceded in death by his stepfather Daryl Allen, grandparents Mary and William Holder, and Uncle Christopher Holder. Scott is survived by his mother, Tametha Allen, sister Michelle, her partner Brittany, his brother Devan, his fiancé Katelynn, and their daughter Paislie Lynn. Scott is remembered fondly by his Aunt Carol and her husband, Vic Kohanski, as well as his Uncle Paul Morris. He leaves behind numerous cousins, including Nicole, Crystal, Mitchell, and Brandon. As well as Scott had a large extended family residing in West, Texas.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on November 11, 2023, at 1pm at Brookside Funeral Home located at 3410 FM-1960 W in Houston, TX 77068. Any flowers, donations, and condolences may be sent directly to the funeral home. Scott Compton Holder will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace.
