Sarah Adame Zepeda of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday February 24, 2023 at the age of 100. She was born on November 3rd, 1922 in Houston, Texas where she grew up going to school at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She met and married the Love of her life Ramon R. Zepeda on January 25, 1942 who was later killed in action in Germany on February 27, 1945 during World War II.
Her passion and love in life was orchestra, piano, dancing and celebrating life with family.
She is preceded in death by her parents – Father Miguel Adame, Mother Blasa Briseno, husband Ramon R Zepeda, sister Nazaria Chavez and son Raul Ramiro Zepeda.
Sarah is survived by Son - Joe Anthony Zepeda, Daughter’s Martha Elva Zepeda Castro and Samuel Valdes, Victoria Z. Salazar and son–in– law Jesse M Salazar. Grandchildren Monica Zepeda, Victor Manuel Yanez , Iris Yanez, Laura Rosales and Jose Aguilar, Rosalinda “Rosie” Castro, Robert Castro, Jaime Castro, Great Grandchildren Christina Gonzalez, Alexis Rosales, Julianna Rosales, Eric Castro, Amber Gonzalez, Ava Michelle Yanez, and Victor M. ”JR” Yanez III.

A visitation for Sarah will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary will be recited for Sarah at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will occur Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003. A graveside service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Reception to be held at Knights of Columbus Hall, 3418 Preston Ave , Pasadena, TX 77505 at 12PM.
Serving as pallbearers are Joe Anthony Zepeda, Victor Yanez, Robert Castro, Jaime Castro, Monica Zepeda, Laura Rosales and Rosalinda "Rosie" Castro.
