Sanjuanita is survived by her son Guadalupe Salas Jr.; her daughter Gloria Salas; her daughter Virginia Ruiz; her daughter Sandra Martinez; her daughter Mary Ann Rodriguez; and her son Angelo Salas.
Sanjuanita was preceded in death by her spouse Guadalupe "Pancho" Salas; her son Rudy Salas, her daughter Irene Salas and her daughter Linda Salas.
SanJuanita was a grandmother to many grandchildren and to many great great grandchildren who loved and adored her.
Some called her granny, memaw, and others mamaw, but Juanita Salas found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved the thrill of thrifting, transforming everyday finds into treasures. Her love for dancing brought light to any room, and her favorite moments were spent surrounded by family, sharing laughter, and creating lasting memories. She loved listening to everyone pick at each other when we were together. When anyone took her shopping, she would look at every single thing and never skipped the shoes looking for high heels cause one day she would wear them again. She was always ready for a good BBQ and her laugh was contagious and will forever be in our hearts.
Her passing leaves an emptiness that can never truly be filled, but her spirit will continue to live on in the lives she touched. She taught us what it means to love unconditionally, to persevere through life’s challenges, and to find joy in simple moments. We will cherish the memories we have and will miss her so much. Fly high little lady, we all love you and know that you’re at peace and dancing with papaw.
