Sandra was born in England in 1955 to parents Allan Oliver Woods and Margaret Ann Woods who reside in the town of Bellville Texas. The family settled in Houston Texas in 1963 where she grew up with her three sisters and where she resided until her untimely death. She graduated from Robert E. Lee high school in 1975. Sandra devoted her working years dedicated to a food service company where she worked as a valued employee for twenty-five years.
She was a devoted wife and mother. She married her husband Keith Kramer in 1977 and gave birth to a son, Arthur in 1982 whom she adored. She was a longtime member of the Mission Bend Church of Christ and looked forward to attending every service
Sandra was preceded in death by her father Allan Oliver Woods just four months prior. She leaves behind her husband Keith and son Arthur, her mother Margaret Ann Woods and three sisters Maria Cochran, Susie Kelly, and Tina Woods. Extended family include Glen and Kristi Kramer Norman, brother and sister in law.
The loss of Sandra leaves a deep sadness to all of her family and friends. She could often be seen walking her beloved Australian Shepherd dogs as she loved this particular breed and often talked about them as she greatly cared for them. Sandra had many other interests as well, such as gardening, making handicrafts, traveling and camping. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
We would like to thank Siobhan Pope, as well as many others for their outpouring of care and numerous visits to see Sandra during this difficult time. Sandra would enthusiastically welcome her visitors in and let each person know how much she loved them before they had to leave. Her big heart was always leading her.
We can not express our gratitude enough to Sharon Graham and the hospice team, whose excellent service facilitated such a loving and peacefully passing. They are truly experts in their field knowing what to do and when, with such care and passion.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4th at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home in West Houston with viewing at 1:00 PM followed by main service at 2:00 PM.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.forestparkwestheimer.com for the Kramer family.
