Samuel Kurt Newman "Kurt" passed on Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the age of 38. Kurt is survived by his wife Casey Serelle Newman, young son Branson Jay Newman of Houston, Texas, and his mother Nancy Norris Moore of Biloxi, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his father Milton J. Newman of Dallas, Texas.
Kurt was born on June 30, 1978 in Houston, Texas to Mel and Nancy. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He married his love Casey in September of 2010 and welcomed baby Branson in August of 2015.
Kurt enjoyed a successful 16-year career as a Software Engineer for companies in both Dallas and Houston, Texas. Kurt was a loving friend, husband and father. His laugh was contagious and he gave the best hugs on earth. He loved the game of Rugby, computer games, and tacos. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
