Ruth L Shoemaker, age 87, of Houston, Texas passed into eternal rest on Tuesday July 25, 2017. Ruth was born July 27, 1929.
Ruth is survived by; son Vernon Shoemaker; son Larry Shoemaker; and son Jimmy Johnson & wife Nancy; sister Brenda Stephens & A.J. and brother James Johnson; grandchildren: Brooke Shoemaker, Juanita Sanders & Randy, Beth Clayton & Richard, J.D. Johnson, Sheila Johnson, great-grandchildren: Abigail Sanders, Hope & Chase Clayton and nephew Billy Elliott.
Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Funeral will be the following day, Friday, July 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home with the interment following at Brookside Memorial Park.
