Ruth Louise Jamison

An angel went to Heaven, May 14, 2012; God welcomed her with open arms into his Kingdom. Ruth Louise Jamison was born January 3, 1925, in Salida, Colorado to Louie and Mary Franks. She was preceded in death by her husband, John K. Jamison. Ruth is survived by her Sons, Bobby Jamison, wife Helen and their children; John Jamison and wife Tina and Andy Jamison and wife Denise, Bill Jamison and wife Pam and their children; Brandi Jamison, Sheri Mayo, John Mayo, wife Liz and Wesley Mayo and wife Nikki ; Daughter, Joyce Battaglia and her daughter Lindsey and fiancée, Doug See (3rd Son); Great-Grandchildren, Rylie Jamison, Kylie and Shelby Jamison, Destinii and Robby Stanley, Christian, Jordan, Chasity, Langdon and Carter Mayo, Dominik and Madalyn Mayo. She was a very loving and caring Mother and Grandmother. She loved to travel and liked sitting on the patio watching the squirrels and birds and in the evening having a bowl of Blue Bell Ice Cream. She worked for Zales Jewelry for over 40 years in Amarillo and Houston before retiring. She had a strong relationship with her Lord and Savior and loved watching Church services on TV after she was unable to travel. A special thank you to Sheri and Wesley Mayo for the time and love they gave her. A visitation will be held on May 17th, Thurs., from 6-8pm and the funeral service will be held graveside on May 18th, Fri., at Forest park Westheimer.
