Russell Lee Milner, Sr.

Russell graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School. He was a proud United States Army veteran. He married Sherrié M. Milner on June 5, 1982. He married for a second time on April 7, 2016 to Jeri Dykes.

Russell worked in the oil field for the Army, Schlumberger and Central Freight lines. He was also a member of DAV and Unity Baptist Church of Porter, Texas. Russell had a passion for many things especially trains, traveling and pictures.

He was survived by his son Russell Lee Milner, Jr and wife Tiffany; mother Mary Milner of New Caney; Stepchildren Donna and Leigh Ellis, Darlene and Nickolas Weaver and Lena Dykes; grandchildren Danielle, Skylar, Dakota, Serenity, Lonnie (LJ) and Brooklyn ; siblings Roy Milner, William Milner, Sr., Douglas Milner, Marcia Milner Eisermann and husband Tony and numerous nieces and nephews including great nieces and nephews.

Russell is proceeded by his 1st wife Sherrié Milner; father William Maxey Milner, Jr.; stepson Calvin Dykes; nephew Lance Cherry; brother-in-law Mark Cherry, Sr. and numerous others.
