Russell Dale Jackson

Russell Dale Jackson went to be with his Lord on January 1, 2017. He was born on May 19, 1939 to parents Russell Lyons Jackson and Rae Roleen Johnson in Leesville, Louisiana. Russell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, grandson and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Lila Jackson; daughters: Sondra Beam and her husband James, Connie Gay and her husband Jerry and Diane Datray; grandchildren: Jayme Macicek and her husband Nathan, Jerry Gay, Jr., Keith Gay, Kelly Spear and her husband Scott, Tina Groze, Brandy Datray, Timothy O’Brien, Ellis Smith and Gerald Kamenicky, Jr.; numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Russell is preceded in death by his grandparents: Floyd and Lydia Jackson; parents; son Gerald Kamenicky, Sr.; grandsons: Bryan Gay and Ronald Datray, Jr.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home in the Family Chapel followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park & Cemetery.
