I want to extend my condolences to you and your family.  I started going to Rudy in the 70's and  we exchanged many stories about our families and friends.  We was a friend to all and he will be missed.

There has simply never been a more caring and authentic friend on this earth.  What a blessing to have been placed in his path during his walk.

My condolences to the family on the loss of a wonderful man.  May you find comfort and strength in God's word.   May He grant you peace.

My prayers are with you and all of Rudy's extended family. My deepest sympathies.  

I am honored and blessed to have known Rudy. 

I first met Rudy as a boy through my father (Ron Donovan). In fact, one of my fond childhood memories is fishing a creek in Hempstead with Rudy and son(s) (Micheal? other?) and my father. We had no bait. Rudy told us to catch grasshoppers and to put them under our ballcaps on our heads. A memorable time.

Fast forward...

After my father died in 1995, I went to Avalon Barber Shop to reintroduce myself to Rudy and Joe, who I knew as friends to my father. Rudy became my barber and friend, and would share stories with me about my father and him [stories of "deer hunting" (although no deers were harmed in this story) and other outings of theirs that I hadn't heard before]. And he would tell me about your/his family (son's job, etc) with a strong pride.

My prayers, sympathies and stories cannot eliminate anyone's grief or sorrow. But, as you know, no one was or is a stranger to Rudy. Personally, I have visions of Rudy already mastering the "lay of the land" in heaven, with everyone knowing Rudy. Making him the perfect advocate and angel for all of us. Maybe that doesn't eliminate grief or sorrow but I do hope that this vision, from time-to-time, places a smile on your face.

I will always think of Rudy and his soft, kind presence as the source of calmness and happiness for me. I was a client for 44 years. I miss Rudy and wish his family well.

It was an honor and privilege to have known Rudy.  Rudy was always warm and inclusive to me any time we were together.  I found it remarkable that no matter what his physical challenges were that he kept going always with a wonderful attitude.  He did that for his family which he loved so dearly.

Rudy was my stepfather and he couldn't have been a nicer guy. Always lent an ear when I needed to talk. Rudy was the perfect gentleman. Rudy, I will always love you and you have a place in my heart.

My brother Rudy Rincon, it's hard to find the right words.  The most caring, beautiful person anyone could ever meet.  I will truly miss our conversations and I will miss you dearly.  Rest in peace.  Love, Virginia
