Rudy M. Paiz

Rudy M. Paiz born on August 29, 1945 of Houston, Texas, went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2023 at the age of 77. With a huge and giving heart he devoted his life as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will always be remembered for all the laughs he gave us over the years with his funny sense of humor. Rudy will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Paiz; grandson, Chris Segovia.

Rudy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Guadalupe M. Paiz; children, Kimberly Paredes and her husband Roman Paredes Jr., Jennifer Perez and her husband Ignacio Perez; grandchildren, Roman C. Paredes, Tiffany Segovia, Victoria Quintanilla and her husband Mario Quintanilla, Taylor Warner, Adrian Perez; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Scarlett Segovia, Isabella, Ian and Ivan Quintanilla; brothers, Sam Paiz, Lupe Paiz, and numerous family and friends.

Our Hero, until we meet again, we love you. Rest in Heaven.

A visitation for Rudy will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM. A burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
