Rudy worked as a Foreman for Davie Tree Export. His passions included fishing and his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his spouse, Rachel Martinez Galvan; children, Dolores "DJ" Martinez, Rudy Martinez JR, Claudia Martinez, and Rubi Martinez; grandson, Julian Canales. He also leaves behind his siblings, Paul Erevia Sr, Joseph Erevia, Anthony Erevia Sr., Manuel Erevia, Johnny Erevia, Lisa Marie Martinez, Gilbert Martinez, and Steven Martinez; along with numerous friends and family.
Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, Dolores Garcia and Antonio Martinez, and brother, Luis Martinez.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 from 5 PM to 8 PM with a 7 PM Rosary at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Ave Houston, TX 77023. A final viewing will take place at 12 PM prior to the funeral mass at 1 PM Wednesday, May 8th, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg Blvd Houston, TX 77011. Burial is to immediately follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
