Ruby Deloris Gipson

Ruby Deloris Gipson, 64, was received by her heavenly father on April 24, 2022, at 12:50am. Her final days were surrounded by family and friends whom she touched in many ways throughout her loving life. She was born in Houston, Texas on August 14, 1957, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital to parents of Ruby and Sam Robinson. Rubygraduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School and received an Associate Degree from the University of Houston. She was joined in marriage to George Gipson on November 26, 1997, in Houston, Texas. Ruby had a career in accounting at McKesson and was a member of Olive M.B. Church for over 25 years, where she accepted Christ at an early age. Ruby's most treasures passion was to spend time with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving Husband, George Gipson; Daughter, Danielle Steptoe; Son, Kendrick Robinson (Jonetta); Stepdaughters, Monique Spencer (Manfred) and Tameka McKnight; Stepson, Quentin Roberts; Grandchildren, Zephyniah, Attazjhynne, Austin, Jaiden, Savaeh, Shanel, Shaun Jr., Emerie, Josiah, Isaiah, Carter, Sakeitra, Mia (Chad Sr.), Chelsee, Jasmine, Kaliya; Great-grandchildren, Kai, Anthony Jr., Elijah, Chad Jr., and Chloe and a host of family and friends.

Ruby was preceded in death by Sam and Ruby Robinson (parents); Lillian Dearborn (Great-grandmother); Johnnie Lee and Dora Gipson (In-Laws).

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Kendrick Robinson, Enricky Jones Jr., Jaiden Palmer, Austin Robinson, Quentin Roberts, Josiah Hugie, Isaiah Hugie andShaun Chapman Jr.

A viewing for Ruby will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM.
