Ruby Nell (Taylor) Cunningham

Ruby moved to Houston at the age of eight and remained a Houstonian for the rest of her life. In September of 1946, she met the love of her life and they were married within six weeks. Their marriage lasted 60 years ending only with the death of her beloved Wade. During these years she was a devoted housewife.

Ruby is predeceased by her parents Waymon D. Taylor and Annie Laura Taylor. Her husband of 60 years Wade Cunningham. Three brothers Waymon J., George and Leslie. Five sisters Lydia Mabel, Margaret, Vesta, Wanda and Annie.

She is survived by her daughters, Louise Parrish (David) of Houston, Linda Grace Sawyer of McKinney, Texas. Four Grandchildren, Robin Rogerson (Matt) Conroe, Texas, Timothy Gibson (Tina) Magnolia, Texas,

Brian Gibson (Becky) Houston, Texas, Dana Gentry (Mark) Tomball, Texas.

Ten Great-Grandchildren, Rachel Stringer, Steven Maybray, Amber, Wade and Logan Gibson, Victoria Randolph, Cameron Gregory, Jason Williams, John and Phylicia Kilpatrick.

Eight Great-Great Grandchildren, Grayson, Addison, Ivory, Hunter, Branson, Kenzie, Bella and Payton Kilpatrick.

A visitation for Ruby will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas 77079. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 12:00 PM, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas 77079. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas 77079. A reception will occur Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas 77079.
