Ruben Yanez Sr.

Ruben Yanez Sr., 86 years of age of Houston Texas, passed away on May 22, 2024 surrounded by family and loved ones. Born on July 2nd, 1937 in Mercedes Texas. He was the son of Tomas and Francisea Elizondo Yanez. His surviving brothers are Tomas Yanez and Javier Yanez and sisters Mary Franco, Ofilia Zamora Yanez and Ester Gates. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Eva Yanez, his brothers Jose Angel Yanez and Ramiro Yanez, sisters Angelita Guajardo, Josefina Villareal and Virginia Ramirez.

Ruben Yanez Sr. is survived by his son Ruben Yanez Jr., and stepdaughters Dora Castro, and Lupe Piaz.

Ruben Yanez was a devout Catholic. He proudly served in the US Air Force. His profession in life was a Pre-need Funeral Provider. He very much enjoyed helping families in their time of grief. He enjoyed being around his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was known for his sense of humor and for meeting friends for coffee and conversations. He would bring laughter to anyone he met.

Flowers can be brought to the funeral home. The wake is on May 30th from 5pm to 10pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo Navigation. 2516 Navigation Blvd. Houston TX 77003

A graveside service will take place Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:45am at the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
