Ruben R Salinas

Ruben was one of 12 children born to Horacio and Aurora Salinas on April 6th, 1941 in Roma Texas. A stoic man who after graduating from Roma High School and Pam American University joined the Army Reserves. From there he went on to have an honorable and distinguished career of 27 years with the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Ruben is survived by his loving wife Guadalupe, and children Roman (Kendra), Renee (Mark) and Desiree. His grandsons, Diego, R. Carter, August, Elijah, and Maxwell. He is also survived by his brother Horacio and his sisters Rosalinda and Imelda and numerous nephews and nieces.

Ruben enjoyed spending his time teaching his grandsons, listening to his Ranchera music, and being present with his family and a good cigar.

Services will be on Monday June 5th at 10:30 am, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 6646 Addicks Satsuma Dr, Houston Texas 77084. Following the service we will proceed to Klein Memorial Park Cemetery located at 14711 Cypress North Houston road, Cypress Texas 77429. Then onto a celebration of life at his home on 7914 Granite Ridge lane, Houston Texas 77095
