Roy Lee Witt, Sr., 84, passed into eternal rest on May 2, 2021. He was born October 3, 1936 in San Benito, Texas. Roy learned early on the meaning of hard work, as he had a paper route, worked in a packing shed, and a grocery store. He never finished high school, as he needed to go to work to help the family. His life career was as a heavy equipment operator. He was a life-time member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Nothing pleased him more than riding the grandkids around on his lawn mower, gardening, spending time in his man-cave and helping to cook.

Left to cherish his memories are wife Dorothy Witt, daughters; Rosalynn Witt Carney and husband Marland, Rhonda Marek and husband Randy, Donna Gassiott, sons; Roy Witt, Jr. and wife Patricia, Bobby Turner and wife Annette, Roy Turner, grandchildren; Rodney Witt, Johnny Lackey and wife Trisha, Austin Witt, Andrew Marek and wife Amanda, Megan Marek and partner Keith LaFontaine, Brandy Black and husband Jason, Valerie Fieldman and husband Lenny, Brandon Gassiott, Roy D.
