Roy is survived by his son, Ronald Edward; and his daughter, Cheryl Lea, both of Houston.
Roy was a veteran of World War II, serving three years in the armed services. Following the war, Roy founded Ranger Steel Supply, a steel distributor serving the Gulf Coast area which has expanded nationwide.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from nine until ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 13th of January, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
The funeral service is to follow at ten o’clock Friday morning, also in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, where Rev. Charles Thompson, Executive Pastor of First United Methodist Church, is to officiate.
The interment is to follow, via an escorted cortege, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions in memory of Roy may be directed to the Texas Wounded Warriors Foundation, 4301 Fillbrook Ln., Tyler, TX, 75707.
