Gosh, it's hard to believe Mike gone he was one of a kind.
Always there to lend a helping hand when needed.. He would tell you how the cow ate the cabbage to! 
But was a good a good friend .
Van and I will always remember to good times we had with you and Linda.

We'll brother inlaw don't know how everyone in paradise acres are going to survive without your grumpy butt rolling around in your golf cart Hollywood tour of the paradise acres subdivision, while throwing back a few cold ones. I have hope that there's a good old place up there with a lake filled with crappie and a cooler full of miller lite and a pantone boat to cruise around in. Take care  old buddy. I miss you already

You are missed so very much. None of this seems real. I guess after tomorrow it will. I wish the situation were different. All my life you have been the one solid father figure that never left. I cannot thank you enough for that. Thank you for loving Gracelynn or "Gabby" as you liked to call her! She is missing you so much! I'm so blessed to have been able to see you in the hospital. I won't forget everything you told me, ever. I will hold on to our memories & keep yours alive as long as I live. I will miss your sarcasm (totally genetic by the way), I will miss the cards you sent every holiday, I will miss hearing you say "hey baby", I will miss our talks, I'll even miss you griping at me about whatever you needed to say. When Gracelynn and I are fishing, I know you will be right there by us. I promise to take care of your baby like you said!

Mike was a great friend to have at the lake, so much so, that many people were known to him as Frank Lake, Pete Lake and Greg Lake (to name a few).  Of course I put him in my contacts as Mike Lake.  

Mike was very good at handing out nicknames, which was an endless source of conversation and laughter.   

I will forever miss Friday afternoon happy hour at Mike’s house, which was a pretty regular event over the last year.  He always knew everything going on in the neighborhood and kept us updated.  Of course he sprinkled all his stories with his straight to the point, gruff, point of view and never with any sugar coating.

It’s hard to express how much he will be missed, as the neighborhood won’t be the same.  RIP Mike Lake

Mike will be missed in the neighborhood.  He built a wonderful house on the waterfront.  It was my absolute pleasure to work with him and his family.

Our condolences to the Lee Family. Mike was our Neighbor in Paradise Acres 1. His beautiful home is right across the road from us. His was always ready to help and give advice. We loved his quick humor and his “ tell it like he saw it” attitude. We will miss his visits on his golf cart and our visits on his porch with a beautiful view of the Lake. RIP: Mike. You will be missed.
