Rosemary C Ortiz

Rosemary C. Ortiz, age 54, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 05, 2016, with her loved ones by her side at St. Luke’s Hospital in Pasadena, Texas after a lifelong battle with diabetes. She was born September 01, 1961, in Rosenberg, Texas, to Raul Charles and Maria Salazar. She was married to Jose A. Ortiz for 43 beautiful years.

Rosemary truly lived a fulfilled life through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family over the phone, going out to eat, and spending time with her family and loved ones. Her biggest passion was dancing and she taught her children and grandchildren how to dance and to laugh through the pain. Rosemary is a perfect example of how life can be fully achieved through trials and tribulations no matter how hard the obstacles may have been

She is survived by her husband, Jose; 7 children (Melissa, April, Rita, Juan, Mark, Raymond and Michael Ortiz), Grandchildren, Jose, Ashley, Rosie, Samantha, Tony, Savannah, Stephanie, David, Araclie, Matthew, Nazarey and Jeryd Jr.; Great- Grandkids Darrell, Destinee, Izayah and Selena, As well as her brothers Larry Hernandez,Oivido Perez and Sister,Olivia Guerrero.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2pm at Forest Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale St. Houston, Texas 77023
