Rosemary Mayo

Born in Berea, Ohio on July 7, 1937 she moved to Houston with her husband in 1971 where they raised their 2 daughters. She lived for her family and was ecstatic when her grandchildren were born and cherished every moment spent with them all. Anyone who ever met her loved her and she will be forever missed.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, James, daughters, Deborah Mayo and Angela Mayo Sanford, son-in-law Jeffrey Scott Sanford, grandson, Logan Sanford, granddaughter, Jessica Sanford, sisters Sharon Campbell and Bernadette Hughes, brother-in-law, Thomas Hughes and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Edith (nee Kovach) Garsteck and parents-in-law, Joseph and Rose (nee D'Amico) Mayo and her brother-in-law, Patrick Campbell

Family will receive friends at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy., Houston, TX 77079 on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, from 5pm to 6pm with a rosary at 6pm.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecelia's Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Drive, Houston TX 77024 on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 10:30am with a graveside service to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 3001 Katy Fwy., Houston, TX 77079
