I only knew Rose through Alex. And I know she was a great person. My condolences.

I met Rose when I worked at Dillards. We became quick friends. She came into my life when I was putting the pieces back together after providing hospice care for my parents and becoming a single mom. As tired, weak and as much as a failure I felt like, Rose always found ways to uplift me. She was a light in dark places. She met me when I was an inexperienced artist. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for everything she taught me. From how to line to mascara, she gave me all the tools I needed to succeed without any ego. She was loving, generous and  kind. She loved my son like I do. She’d always tell me how proud she was. In fact, that’s one of the last things she said to me. I’ll cherish her memory always. Thank you Rose.... for more than you will ever know. I’ll never forget the impact you had in my life. 

Dear Rose, we have a lifetime of memories together.  I thank God that we were able to have a conversation a few days prior before He took you to heaven.  I thank you for your great friendship.  We were more like sisters. These past few days, I’ve had so many memories of our life together since childhood.  I remember how I used to join your family for the Christmas celebrations for your dad’s company.  I remember how your mom used to call me her Adopted Daughter.  I remember how we used to talk on the phone daily when we were teenagers, and we’d meet halfway between your house and mine, just to chat.  For a while, I even lived with your family.   As I reminisced our times with some of my family, I was told twice that God had gifted you to me.  I believe it.  You accompanied me and Rudy to Mexico to choose my wedding dress, etc. You were 1 of my 2 bridesmaids.  You were Mark’s Godmother.  You knew all my secrets.  You did so much for me.  You were the only person I could call at 3 a.m. in the morning when I was scared, and you stayed with me on the phone and gave me courage; you never abandoned me. Even though you were younger than me, I always looked up to you for so much.  I always thought you were so smart and wise, and not to mention beautiful, of course. I can still hear you telling me how I needed to take my meds in the morning, not mid-day, and tell me what kinds of healthier foods I should be eating.  If I was in a depression, I could call you & you’d have the right words for me.  Thank you for all the times you gave our family your help, especially my mom and Nena – and thank you for the millions of prayers you said for me and my family.  I was so proud of you.  I hope you knew that.  You were never supposed to outlive me, you know.  Now that you are with God, please pray for me.  Intercede for me and ask that God give me strength.  I miss you so much.  I thank the Lord that our last words to each other were “I love you.”

Rose was amazingly warm person with such an incredibly sweet and caring personality.  We will miss her dearly.  I will always remember when we all went out to eat together at El Pueblo and how she opened her home to us and always made us feel welcome.  The world has lost the lovely light in her soul but heaven has gained an angel for sure.  Hugs, love and prayers are coming to the Lazo family and all of those touched by her incredible spirit.

I met Rose many years ago whole I was having my radiations at St. Joseph's hospital. Since we met we became really good friends. She always there for me, she looked after me many times. We used to go to different chinese buffets and she would always pilled my ships. We also used to go shopping quite often and took Alex to his show.  Once we went to see Neil Diamond. We has so much fun and sang every song. We also shared our faith going to Mass on Sundays. We lost track of each other for many years but thanks to Facebook we reconected. When I a stroke she was by my ves side. Every time I was admitted at the hospital que was there with me. The last thing she told me was: I finnished reading your book and I had a heart attack. I thought she was kidding about it. So we laught about it, but then she told me that she was really at the hospital. She was mi friend and my sister by choice.  Love you and miss you a lot.

Sincere Condolences to The Lazo Family. May you all find comfort in the great memories you created with Rose. I was privileged to work with Rose at Saccos, along the side with her Aunt Mary Lazo. Although Rose was there for a short time, I learned alot. She was strong in her faith.  Always telling me what novena was about to begin or if I knew of any. She will forever be in our hearts.

Dear Rose
Hard to think we have known each other over 35 years and even harder to think I will not bump into you at a store again . I want to thank you for the fun times and just for being a friend over the years . I know you Alma and Chelly are up there  having fun looking down on all us crazies . I will miss your smile and you dearly !

Our condolences to the entire family. Rose was such a beautiful soul- she always welcomed us with open arms as if we were her family. I loved how she would always make so many nice comments on our facebook pages.  She will be greatly missed but will live in our hearts forever.

  The angel we lost here on earth has been returned home to heaven!


Rose was a beautiful lady that I met thru her father, Sonny Lazo, which was my best friend. We always stayed in touch after her father passed. May she rest in peace since we are going the same route. I will never forget the LAZO FAMILY.
 

Rose lived up to her name, Rosa Linda (Beautiful Flower) and she was .I enjoyed meeting up with her on the San Juan Pilgrimages. She had a youthful spirit! We roomed with her and we always had to open the door for her cause she would come in late, after going out with the Comadre ! Fun times.I will keep the Family in my prayers. Rest In Peace,Love You 🌹💜 

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Lazo family for the loss of their beloved Rose. I know she’s in heaven rejoicing with her parents and grandparents. Those left behind will miss her dearly but know they will meet her again in heaven. Rest In Peace Dear Rose, 🌹
