Deuteronomy 4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes saw, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life; but make them known unto thy children and thy children’s children;
In Rose Marie Jacobs’ passing we mourn the departure of the familial matriarch, mother, grandmother, and friend. However, in her physical absence we are still left with her strong spirit and wonderful memories.
Through Rosie’s life she oversaw the upbringing of her three children, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Accompanied by her husband Glenn of 61 years, she put together a warm and inviting household that brought family and friends together for holidays, birthdays, get togethers, and lazy days in the backyard.
The flock she kept would be gifted lessons from her experience as a homemaker ranging from baking to gardening. With her kind heart she imparted empathy and compassion. With her glowing smile she showed us how to look upon each day with humor and excitement. With her melodious voice she shared songs, hymns, and nursery rhymes so that we would not only appreciate and enjoy them but recall them when they were needed the most. And with her faith she provided the foundation for which her family would be able to find solace in even the most difficult times.
Rosie Jacobs kept her soul diligently, unwaveringly, and open to those who were near her and ensuring that her essence was known unto her children, her children’s children, her family, and her friends.
While Rosie has departed this world, everyone that has known her has pieces of her that will live on and be shared for generations.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.forestparkwestheimer.com for the Jacobs family.
