Rose Mary Duncan

Rose Mary Wasylyszyn Duncan, born October 28, 1920, passed away on August 3, 2014. Starting out as a 'soda jerk' at Krause's Pharmacy, she later retired from Hamilton Shirt Company. She worked as a seamstress there for over 30 years. She loved to cook and bowl and play Bingo, and then spent countless hours planting and tending to her flower gardens. With a selfless spirit of love, she worked many long, hard hours supporting, caring for and loving her family. Rose is preceded in death by her daughter, Joanna Duncan. She is survived by; Robert Duncan (Jean), Lea Johnson (Lee), Ronald Duncan (Trudy), and Carolyn Atkinson, Grandchildren; Temira Davison (Jon), Amber Lllana (Dan), Sherri Slanina (Jeff), Melanie Henderson (Craig), Kimberly Petty, Daniel Duncan, Jennifer Atkinson, and Timothy Atkinson, Great grandchildren; Jon Logan, Lexi, Grant, Connor, Chloe, Victoria, Isabelle, Tyler, and Katie. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 12, 2014, 5pm at the Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2014, 10am, at the Heights Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
