It is with heavy hearts and with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rosario Cindo Rodriguez, who departed into heavens gates on Saturday July 20, 2024 at the age of 67. She was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico on November 5, 1956. At age 14 she moved to Edinburg, TX where her parents and siblings called home for many years. She attended Edinburg High School with determination to achieve an accounting skillset to pursue a career as an accountant. She and her family were field workers for many years. No job was too big or too small for her to put her hardworking skills forward. She later fell in love and married her former husband, Adolfo Rodriguez where together they moved to Houston, TX to establish their own family roots.
Rosario lived a beautiful, fulfilled life. She enjoyed every moment of life making memories and spending time with friends, co-workers, and loved ones. She loved cooking, baking, and hosting family events. Her favorite past time was dancing, listening to music, playing Mexican Loteria, cards and traveling. She fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams last year by traveling to Paris and Rome to see the Eiffel Tower and visiting Vatican City where she got the opportunity to see the Pope and receive a blessing from him. Her travels around the US, Canada, Europe and Mexico were great memories. Mom was her happiest as the biggest cheerleader at her one and only grandson’s events.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, instilled values, faith and strength that will last forever in our hearts. She was always so fashionable and presentable and would not leave the house unless she was dressed up, had her hair and makeup done. She was a very classy lady and one of a kind with the biggest heart and love for everyone that was part of her life.
She leaves behind her one and only daughter Veronica Rodriguez Ramos, son in-law Erik N Ramos and grandson Jacob N Ramos. She is preceded in death by her parents Juan Rangel Cindo and Maria Sandoval Cindo, sisters Paula Villalobos, Maria de Jesus Cindo, Elida Rodriguez and Blanca Villaro. Survived by her siblings, Irma Cindo, Antonia Martinez, Juan Cindo, Maria Cindo, Rita Vasquez, Jesus Cindo and Norma Hernandez. Among nieces and nephews.
