Rosario Camarillo

Born in Houston Texas on January 2, 1933 to Luciana and Guadalupe Lopez.

Rosario was a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School. After working in an office in downtown Houston, she married her high school sweetheart, Armando Camarillo, on November 15, 1953. They had three children, Armando Camarillo Jr., Thomas Xavier Camarillo, and Laura Marie Camarillo.

Rosario was loved by many and she was always there for everyone. She loved flowers, birds, reading, the color purple, and so much more. But most of all she loved her family and her friends. Each person held a special place in her heart. For her love and guidance, her children credit her with the beautiful lives that they have today. Her children look forward to the big hugs they will all share again with Rosario one day in the future.

She is preceded in death by her husband Armando Camarillo Sr.; her parents Guadalupe and Luciana Lopez; her brothers John Lopez and Nick Lopez; her daughter-in-law Liza Camarillo; her brothers-in-law Arturo Camarillo, Jesse Camarillo, Charles Bennett, and Tony Cervantez; her sisters-in-law Mary Ann Lopez and Martha Camarillo; and her nephew John Lopez.

She is survived by her sons Armando Camarillo Jr. and Thomas Camarillo with his wife Nancy; her daughter Laura Camarillo. Rosario is also survived by her grandchildren Alejandro Camarillo, Miguel Camarillo, Wilma Camarillo, Theresa Spahni, Anthony Spahni, and Robert Camarillo and her great granddaughter Adriana Camarillo.

She is also survived by her sisters Carmen Cervantez and Cruz Ramon with her husband Raul;her sisters-in-law Carmen Lopez and Rita Bennet; her nieces Louise Corson, Annie Kalmar, Patricia Curry, Ezette Lopez Zepeda Garza, Karen Lindsey, Peggy Ann Fegge, and Rita Michelle Bennett; her nephews Adrian Ramon, Albert Ramon, Ricky Zepeda, John Lopez, Nick Lopez, Benny Lopez, Freddy Lopez, Tony Lopez, Joseph Lopez, and Nick Lopez.

Visitation will be held on November 9th at Funeraria del Angel, Crespo FH - Navigation, 2516 Navigation BLVD., Houston, TX 77003 with a Rosary prayer at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg at 10:00 AM on November 10th with interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
