She graduated from Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge and went on to marry the love of her life, V. Wayne Moreland, on August 9, 1958. Rosalind dedicated herself to raising her children as a stay-at-home mom but later pursued a fulfilling career in the dentistry field, working for 32 years after her children were grown.
Rosalind is preceded in death by husband V. Wayne Moreland and her brother Maxwell Daniel Jr. and survived by her two sisters, Dot Dickinson and Carla Collins; her children Lance Moreland (and wife Colleen), Brent Moreland (and wife Karen), and Brenda Ramone (and husband Henry Entenza); as well as eight grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on through her family, who will forever cherish the memories they made with her.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
