Rosalie Agatha Smith

Rosalie was born to Joe Shibest and Bernice Siveoski, on July 14th,1931 in Anderson, Texas. She graduated from Anderson High School. She married Joe F. Smith on February 3rd,1950, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised 4 children.

She is survived by: Becky Wells (Gailyn), Mike Smith (Celia), Tony Smith (Terry). She also leaves to cherish her memory grandkids Christopher Wells (Mandy) and JT Smith (Danielle). Great-grandkids Easton Wells, Cooper Wells, Colt wells, and Wade Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe F. Smith, son Terry Smith and daughter-in-law, Paula Jan Smith.

Rosalie was homemaker and loved raising her kids and keeping the house in perfect shape. She enjoyed country music, gardening and fishing, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was also a die hard Astros fan. Rosalie was also actively involved in the Catholic Church, she was very devout.

A visitation is scheduled for 12pm on August 16th, 2023 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Deer Park. A rosary is to follow at 12:30 with a funeral mass at 1pm at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. The committal service will follow at 3pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. A reception will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 4pm-6pm.
