Rose was born on September 8,1950 in Taft, Texas to the parents of Tomasa Olgin and Juan Perez. She attended school in Maple, Texas. She then moved to Fort Worth, Texas to live with her loving brother, Enriquez Perez. In 1976, she then moved to Houston, Texas.
Rose was blessed with a large and loving family. One of her favorite things was to spend time with her family laughing and enjoying each other's company. She took pride in being a mother figure to Alice and a grandmother figure to Alice's children Ashley, Elizabeth, Celeste and a great grandmother figure to Alexander, Ruby, Hector Jr., Andrew, Rafael and Lorenzo.
For 28 years she worked at Rose Electronics and made many long lastly friendships. She was blessed to find and marry her best friend and soulmate, Janie Faz in 2017. This was a day that she had dreamed of for many years. She loved to listen to music and have a cold beer, travel with her friends and enjoy a good meal. When you think of Rose it makes you smile because she loved to have a great time. She would always say...leave the drama at home. Rose was always full of life and laughter.
On her last days Rose had revisited a post that she had made in 2021, on social media that I wanted to share with you as one of her last statements to everyone that shared moments in her life....
When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand; The angel said my place was ready. In Heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly loved. But when I walked through Heaven's Gate, I felt so much at home, for God looked down, smiled at me, and told me "Welcome Home." So, when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.
She is survived by Janie Faz; loving wife, Ignacio Perez; brother, Enrique Perez; brother, Minerva Banda; sister, Angie Dutka; sister, 13 nephews, 15 nieces, 20 great nieces, 14 great nephews, 14 great great nieces, 17 great great nephews, 4 great great great nieces and 3 great great great nephews.
