Ronald Zermeno

Ronald “Ronnie” Zermeno Sr., 69, went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2018. He was surrounded by family and the support of friends. He was born on May 27, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Carmen and Russell Zermeno Sr.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Elizabeth; sons, Ronald Jr. (Ana), Eric (Belina), Aaron; daughter, Karen (Erik); grandchildren, Juliette & Samantha; brothers, Russell Jr., David, & Roland; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents.

He was a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School in 1968 and served our country in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Hughes Tool Company & Baker Oil Tools for many years. Ronnie enjoyed playing golf, grilling, traveling, and following the Houston sports teams. He was known for telling the funniest stories and his straightforward, outspoken presence.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3011 Telephone Rd, Houston, TX 77023. Interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
