Surrounded by close family, Ronald L. Luster, 77, passed away on April 3, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. He proudly served his country as a sonar technician in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was also a dedicated master mason in the Freemason Society, a social and philanthropic organization.
Ron was a man of few words, but they were always meaningful. He loved his family deeply and could be counted on for encouragement and support. It was a joy to share a room with him and hear his quick-witted jokes and stories.
After a prosperous career with the Harris County District Clerk’s office, Ron's entrepreneurial spirit led him to open an antique shop in the Heights Station. He took great pleasure in finding and selling relics of the past. He was also an avid family historian, tracing his lineage beyond the Mayflower.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie B Luster and Eileen Luster.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karmen; son Michael and his wife, Ollie; son Alex and his wife, Esther; grandchildren Jessica, Sarah, Kevin, Benjamin, Emalee and Houston; great grandchildren Jason and Daisy.
Ron is also survived by his siblings, Dennis, Elizabeth and Michael.
