He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ann Rajcevich Girnus, mother Louise Locke Girnus, and father Robert T. Girnus.
He is survived by his sister Madeline Luna and her husband John, niece Chandra Luna, nephew Kyle Luna, nephew Jason Luna, 3 great grand nieces, 3 great grand nephews, aunt Sylvia Anderson and her husband Lloyd, and cousins Terry, Bruce and Tracy Anderson.
Ron was an avid sports fan and photographer who will be missed by his many friends and family.
Memorial service is being held at Cypress Bible Church 11711 Cypress N. Houston Rd Cypress, TX 77429 on March 28, 2017.
There will be a graveside service at a later date in Fayetteville, TX.
