ROGER L.MEDRANO,67,has gone home to be ever present with his Lord and Savior. He departed on Thursday, November 11, 2010. He was born February 6, 1943 to Lorenzo and Hortencia Medrano, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him; his brothers Raymond, Lorenzo, Jr. and Robert Medrano, and his sister Armadina Rangel.He was a US Army veteran and served in Viet Nam. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Irene Medrano, son Roger D. Medrano and his wife Deanne, daughter Celina M.Stewart and husband Quance. Blessed with 6 grandchildren; Roger, Jr. and Lauren Medrano, Ashlyn, Madilyn, Lindsey and Amyra Stewart.His siblings; Mary Lou Gonzales, Alicia Flores,Cecelia Suarez and Miguel Medrano.A celebration of life will be held on Monday the 15th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday the 16th in the Main Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with interment immediately following at Houston National Cemetery.
