Roger D. Hawkins

Roger D. Hawkins, age 64, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 12, 2013. Roger was born on July 7, 1949, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Raymond and Frankie Hawkins. He graduated from Victoria High School in 1967, attended Victoria Jr. College and Texas A&I University and received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering in 1976 from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.

Roger is predeceased by his parents: Raymond and Frankie Hawkins and brother, Glen Hawkins. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Janet Hawkins; son, Travis Hawkins; sisters: Peggy Wagner (Jack) and LaVetta Van Scoder of Victoria; brother in law, Lawrence Wagner (Margaret C.) of College Station and sister in law Margaret A. Wagner of Houston.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 15, 2013, from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm in the stateroom at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at 10:30 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, Texas 77079.
