Roderick Earl Reece

Roderick Earl Reece, was born September 20, 1965, in Houston, Texas to Mrs. Gloria Jean Carter and Mr. Kenneth J. Kindle, Sr. Roderick (Rod) was raised in Kashmere Gardens by his loving grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Redmon. He accepted Christ at an early age. On Sunday, December 30, 2012, Rod departed this life and went home to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his son, Roderick Tramaine Reece, grandfathers, Edward Redmon and Tommy Kindle; grandmother, Lula Mae Kindle and his niece Valencia Doucet. Roderick attended Lamar Fleming Jr. High School and was a graduate of the 1984 class of Kashmere Sr. High School. After completing high school, Roderick went to work for his Uncle Marvin at one of the best BBQ places in Houston. Roderick later married Tiver Johnson and to this union was born Roderick Earl Reece, Jr. He later bore another son, Quinton Gaines. After working several years, he partnered with his Father (Ken) with Kindle and Son Trucking Company. After leaving Kindle and Son Company, he went to work for Triple AAA Coop Company where he was employed until our Lord and Savior called him home. With memories that will never fade away, he leaves in God's care a loving grandmother Leola Redmon; father, Kenneth Kindle Sr.; mother, Gloria Carter; step-father, Clarence Carter; sons Roderick Reece, Jr. and Quinton Gaines; siblings, Shelia Gully (Andre), Shannon Doucet, Lakendra Kindle, Kenneth Kindle, Jr. (Inger), Jeremy Kindle (Terri); a special cousin Toni Simon (Leonard); step-sister, Shamarion Goree; and a host of extended brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, family, friends and special friends. Roderick's Life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 12, 2013, with a visitation beginning at 9:00AM. The Life Celebration will follow at 11:00AM., at Brookhollow Baptist Church - The Church Without Walls(Bingle Campus) 5314 Bingle Rd., Houston, TX 77092. Roderick will peacefully rest in Cemetery Beautiful with his grandfather.
