Robin Nguyen

Robin Nguyen, 57, of Houston, TX, passed away on 03/21/24 in Houston, TX. Robin Nguyen was born Saigon, VN to Thong Van Nguyen and Dinh Thi Huynh on 10/31/1967. He went to school at Saigon. He worked as a nail technician for 15 years.

Robin was the 9th child of 15 children to Thong Van Nguyen and Dinh Thi Huynh. In Vietnam, Robin lived a simple life as an artist making art tranh son mai for a living. Robin then immigrated to America at 26 years old and was an extremely caring and hardworking person. With his time in America, he worked endlessly to make money in order to support his family back in Vietnam. Robin had no spouse and no kids, but had a partner for 20 years, My Dung Tran. Robin loved his family deeply and had the biggest heart. A few years prior to his death, he took on the responsibility of becoming a full-time caretaker for his sister Phuong-Hong Nguyen in her final years. Robin loved to travel back to his hometown in Saigon, VN to visit his family and friends and to give back to those that were less fortunate. In fact, he was currently planning a trip back to Vietnam with his partner later within the year.

Robin Nguyen is preceded in death by Thong Van Nguyen, Dinh Thi Huynh, Quy Kim Nguyen, Phuong-Hong Nguyen. Robin Nguyen is survived by siblings, nieces and nephews.
