I miss you So Much Daddy!!   I was remembering my wedding day.   Do you remember when I traveled alone from Monterrey Mexico to Houston because I wanted to spend a few special days alone with you  before my wedding because I felt it would probably be the last time we could do it as Father and Daughter?   It was such a special time.   So how Blessedly special it was that God willed it so that you would spend  your last days on this earth  with me, Daddy,  under my care,  and again got a chance to spend such loving and special moments together.     I love you and miss you SO MUCH!!   God Bless you and keep you in  His Glory.  

Some  of us are not very  articulate Daddy.   But I know  your family was precious to you.    You were so DEVOTED to your family and  you were a SUPERIOR provider.   You sacrificed for us.   Everything you did for my family and I shall NEVER go unappreciated.    Your journey on this earth has come to an  end, but your legacy will endure forever in our hearts.  Love you Daddy.  Rest in Peace      

How  you loved to have fun Daddy.   And you were such a Jokester!!    You were so good at telling jokes that you had us all in tears.  I  missed that.     A few years ago, I accompanied you to a doctor's visit with Robert.  Something  happened on the way out of the office that made us crack up laughing.  And you said, "that's what I  love... you see us all laugh like this".   Oh Daddy, how I wish you had had more of that these past few years!  Love you.

Daddy, it was such a privilege to have spent the last 3 weeks with you.  I know that  God willed it so that we would spend those precious moments together.  We laughed, we cried, we danced, and finally we said our goodbyes.  I will ALWAYS carry you in my heart, Daddy.    I have all  of our memories together stored in  my heart.   I have several pictures of us dancing together.  Didn't we enjoy dancing together?    Now I regret we didn't do that more often.  But the times we did,  we had so much  fun.  You were such a good dancer.   I won't say Goodbye Daddy, because I know you will always be with me.   Rest in Peace Daddy,  I know you are with our Lord now. Roberto is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Aurora R. Valdez; children, Carmen, Juanita and husband, Fernando, Olga and husband, Shaun, Miguel and wife, Anna, Robert and Carlos.  Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
