Roberto Pineda

Roberto was born October 3, 1942 in San Salvador, El Salvador to Leonardo and Alicia Pineda. Roberto spent most of his childhood in El Salvador and later immigrated to the United States where he met his wife Clemencia. Roberto owned an apparel factory, which has been in business for over 48 years. He gained recognition in the El Salvador apparel industry as a model to follow during the 1980’s and 90’s. Roberto had a passion for playing golf and participated in the Salvadoran Golf Federation representing the country in several international and local amateur tournaments. Roberto will be remembered as a happy and outgoing husband, father, brother, and friend. Roberto was a great mentor to his friends and family.

Roberto is survived by his wife Clemencia of 54 years, by his sons, Luis Pineda and wife Yvette Castillo-Pineda, Sergio Pineda and his wife Monica Bicard de Pineda; his daughter Andrea Pineda-Tejada and her husband Angel Tejada; seven grandchildren, Gabriela, Valeria, Marianna, Diego, Alexandra, Adrian and Mateo; his siblings Ana, Mercy (Bob), Mauricio (Carmen), Arturo, and Edgardo (Yanira), along with several nieces and nephews. His parents, Leonardo and Alicia, preceded him in death.
