Robert Stephen Webb (a.k.a. Bobby), age 89 was born in Houston, Tx on December 28, 1926 and passed away November 6, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Joy Webb, and children, son Michael Webb and wife Tanya, and daughter Jana Taylor and husband Pete. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He is one of four children and is survived by a sister, Rosemary Laird and sister-in-law, Kay Webb, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Milby High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during 1945-1946. He worked in many capacities for Parker Brothers Concrete Company and retired with 40 years’ service in 1989.
We have heard numerous stories of growing up exploits in and around Houston, hunting rabbits where many of us now live and work. He spent several summers working on an uncle’s ranch in Cypress and finding arrowheads along Cypress Creek while exploring with a cousin.
He and Joy enjoyed camping in their trailer across the United States each summer vacation as well as two trips to Canada, deer hunting at Columbus, Tx for many years. During his retirement, he also loved to feed and watch the deer around their lake house at Canyon Lake.
