ROBERT PLATT WEATHERLY, 90, departed this life on June 19, 2015. He was born on November 13, 1924. He served in the Navy during WWII as a signalman third class. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Evelyn. He is survived by his children, Greg, Chris, Mark, Mary, Matt, Joe, John, Lisa and their respective spouses; 20 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He thoroughly enjoyed a long career as a local caterer. He will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman, a loving family man and as a role model to others.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Pat H. Foley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston, TX 77018.
