Dear Robert,

In the depths of my heart, there's an ache that words can barely touch. You were the lighthouse in my darkest storm, the friend who extended a hand when I was drowning in uncertainty. When they discovered that ominous liver mass, it was your name I whispered, and it was your unwavering presence that provided the comfort I needed.

I'll never forget the compassion you exuded, offering your home in Houston, a sanctuary amidst my cancer fears. You didn't want me to go through the journey alone,if so. What astounded me, even more, was your willingness to embrace my spoiled husky Santiago. Your kindness knew no bounds; it radiated like a warm, constant glow.

We had this plan, a rendezvous in Chicago on the 20th of October. You were meant to board a flight, and I, a train. Such a simple desire lay at the heart of that plan - a heartfelt hug and the shared delight of making each other laugh. That's all I yearned for. 

But the universe unfolded a different script, one filled with cruel twists and injustices. On October 15th, you departed from this world, leaving us in mourning. I believe our 'almost' will always haunt me since we never had the opportunity to see each other in Chicago.  

Your absence has left a void that words can't fill. Your passing reminds me of life's fragility, its unpredictability. Yet, our connection, though brief, was profound. You brought joy to my life, offered solace in my despair, and your memory will forever reside in my heart.

Rest in the profound peace you so deserve, dear Robert. Your spirit lives on in the laughter and memories we created, even from a distance. I'll think of you, always.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today to lift up my family who is grieving. I know that you are the God of all comfort and that you are near to the brokenhearted. I ask that you would wrap your loving arms around them during this difficult time.

Lord, i pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to flood their heart and mind. In the midst of their pain and sorrow, may they find solace in your presence. Help them find ways to express their emotions and lean on you for strength.

Lord, i ask that you would provide comfort in their memories and bring to mind the moments of joy and laughter that were shared with their loved one. Remind them of the love that was given and received and help them hold onto those cherished moments.

Father, i pray for healing of their broken hearts. Bring restoration and hope to their spirit.

I also pray for support and understanding from those around them. 

Lord, i trust in your goodness and your faithfulness. I thank you for your promise to never leave them. May they find comfort and strength in knowing that you are with them every step of the way.

My condolences to the Sanchez and Galvan families. Rest in Peace Robert.  The only thing I remember about Robert is when he was about 2 years old when he was playing with Victor who was Patricia's uncle.  God bless him.

I have warm and special memories of Robert on the floor playing with his cars in my old office at Stage. That special little boy grew into a amazing man that we will never forget. 
Our hearts ache for the ones he left behind. May God bring peace and courage to his family and especially to Patricia, my sweet loving friend.

Robert is survived by his parents, Patricia Longoria and Honorio Sanchez Jr, and his two younger sisters, Victoria and Claire Sanchez. His grandparents, Blanca and Aurelio Galvan, and Maria de Rosario and Honorio Sanchez Sr. loved him deeply. While his aunts and uncles, Janet &amp; Milton Julian, Michelle &amp; Derek Dimanoff, Yolanda &amp; Russell Coronado, Raquel &amp; Rick Shell, and Javier Sanchez &amp; Ruby Ann German loved him fiercely. He will be greatly missed by his cousins, Ricky, Kevin, Aaron, Gavin, and Alexandria who looked up to him for guidance as the oldest.
