Robert Anthony Sanchez, a beloved son, brother, and pillar in our family passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 15, 2023, in Houston, Texas. Robert was a true Houston native, born on October 25, 1989, he was with us for an incredible 33 years. He lived, worked and went to school most of his life in Houston, but loved the thrills and adventures of traveling the world. Robert was also a simple man who enjoyed simple pleasures out of life; having a beer with his friends after work, getting last minute standing room tickets to the upcoming Astros game, enjoying an early morning tee time, that’s who Robert was. Robert took pride in everything that he did and in everyone that he loved.
Robert is survived by his parents, Patricia Longoria and Honorio Sanchez Jr, and his two younger sisters, Victoria and Claire Sanchez. His grandparents, Blanca and Aurelio Galvan, and Maria de Rosario and Honorio Sanchez Sr. loved him deeply. While his aunts and uncles, Janet & Milton Julian, Michelle & Derek Dimanoff, Yolanda & Russell Coronado, Raquel & Rick Shell, and Javier Sanchez & Ruby Ann German loved him fiercely. He will be greatly missed by his cousins, Ricky, Kevin, Aaron, Gavin, and Alexandria who looked up to him for guidance as the oldest.
A service of remembrance will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 25th at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy., Houston. Funeral service scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 26th at 11a.m. in St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, Texas. The burial will follow the church service at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery and a celebration of life at 5503 Fair Forest, Houston.
