Mr. Robert Wayne Rodriguez

He served in the United States Army and had recently retired from the United States Postal Service after 29 years. A lifelong fan of Nascar and fishing, after retirement he was able to go fishing with friends and family more often. Preceded in death by his parents and baby sister, Robert is survived by his wife, Catherine May Allen Rodriguez, daughter Tiffany Hicks and husband Mike, granddaughters, Laini and Riley all of Spring, Texas. granddaughter Chloe of Corpus Christi, Texas, grandson Little Mike of Chino, California, daughter Kim Rushing and husband Mat, granddaughters Hailey and Madison all of Pearland, Texas, his sisters Gloria Moustakis, Elizabeth Hinton and Debbie Sampson, along with their spouses, all of Houston, as well as five nephews, three nieces, and their children. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Brookside Funeral Home from 5 pm to 8 pm with a rosary at 7 pm. The funeral service will be Friday, July 29, 2016 at 1 pm at Brookside Funeral Home, followed by the burial which will take place at Houston National Cemetery.
