Robert J. Langan, 85, away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 in Houston, Texas. He was born on September 6, 1927 in Pontiac, Illinois to Joseph Langan and Genevieve Abbuduska Langan. He served in the United States Army during WWII and received an American Theater Ribbon and World War II Victory Medal.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph Langan; nephews Kent Belasco and Craig Belasco and 11 other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 at 11:00 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery.
